A Curated Holiday Look: Say Yes To The Dress

A great dress is effortless, and takes you from day to night, and, as a working mom on the go, a dress is the most versatile piece I can have in my closet. Every season I look for a few key dresses, usually semi-formal pieces that can be dressed up or down. Here are three of my favorites from designer Cynthia Rowley, who is making me fall in love with prints all over again.

During the holidays, I often times find myself buzzing from one fete to the next. In a town like Palm Beach, where people go out on the earlier side, I find myself having to go from a trunk show to an opening and then off to a late dinner.

An easy and elegant silk dress like the “Off The Cuff” in checkered silk above is my go to for a busy day. I love a dress that does double duty. For after work drinks, I just change up the jewels for a little extra drama. My statement earrings by Kitik, silver tassel by Idalia Baudo and diamond ring and bracelets by Patricia Robalino.

For long days versatility and comfort are key, and Cynthia Rowley designs pieces that are both stylish and comfortable. The fab floral “Allegra” dress is an elegant option, especially if I have a day where I’m working late. Here I’ve paired it with statement earrings and a glossy smoky quartz necklace from my collab with Kitik Jewelry, and stacks of diamond bangles by Patricia Robalino.

On the weekends I usually run around with the kids scheduling client meetings in between. This gorgeous dress doubles as a cover up, and looks great with leggings and platforms in the “chilly” December days. The print is festive, and while it might not say holiday party, it’s still fun and dressed up. Alone it’s perfect for a beach club lunch; add jewelry, and you can take it to a casual work meeting or even happy hour with the girls.

All of these pieces, as well as a limited edition of one-of-a-kind holiday dresses by Cynthia, will be available at our trunk show on December 22. Visit us at Cynthia Rowley’s Palm Beach outpost in the fabulous Royal Poinciana shopping center for a shopping experience like no other. I will be on site along host Bettina Andersen and Jessica Swift of Palm Beach Social Diary to help you get ready for your holiday party and cross off some last minute gifts of your list. Store manager Dawn has an amazing event in store with fun gifts, champagne, and goodie bags for the first 20 shoppers. See you there!
